I missed being with many of you last night for a Biospirituality Pause. At our gathering time, I was sitting with my extended family at the University of North Texas arena watching my nephew graduate from high school. As I noticed the time, I paused right where I was and lifted each of you up in my heart as I placed my hand gently on my chest. While I only had a few seconds to pause, it felt good to know that you all were together for a longer time of prayer. I could sense our connection to each other and a small piece of our unity with Everyone and Everything. Surprisingly, I always find extra motivation to gather with others for contemplative prayer because of the people who will not be able to join us. We hold space for others during our prayer time, those who are present and those who are not. Thanks for holding space for me last night. I will return the favor on Saturday morning!
How might you have experienced holding space for others? Have you ever sensed others holding space for you?
