Individual Spiritual Direction Session: 60-minutes via Zoom

$80.00

All sessions are with Certified Spiritual Director Kami Pohl, OblSB

Maybe you have been practicing some connection to the divine all your life. It could be that the idea of a potential relationship with the source of Good, True and Beautiful is new and fragile. Possibly you are considering a renewed relationship with God. Maybe questions are arising from your personal contemplative practices or in your Benedictine CARE groups that are hard to bring up in a group setting. If you have been hurt by the people who represent the church or feel like there is no place in religion for you, a spiritual direction conversation offers a place for your story to be heard and a space for exploring alternative ways that the Source of Love might be reaching out to you.

We don’t want price to inhibit your ability to receive individual guidance as your biospiritual focusing practice deepens. Please connect to discuss options if needed.

Description

A note from Kami Pohl, OblSB on Spiritual Direction:

Spiritual direction is a safe, non-judgmental space for you to ask and wonder about your connection with the divine alongside a trained companion. A private spiritual direction session will offer you someone to listen to both you and the Source of Love as you tell the parts of your story that are arising that day; to reflect with you on times of light and spiritual connection as well as times that seem dark and dry; and to provide time, space, and a supportive presence as you notice, turn towards, listen and sense into your own personal wisdom arising in you.

It can be helpful to have a companion to guide you in slowing down, pausing and lingering with whatever is emerging. When I meet with my own spiritual director, I am often surprised when I ask a question and am not sure about possible answers. Then, my spiritual director will often reflect back something they have heard me say during our time together that seems to guide me to my next step. Having an attentive companion listen carefully to me, ask thoughtful questions and help me notice Grace in my life has been a rich gift that I continue to be honored to share with others.
