Change is an active, intentional process. We must disrupt current established patterns to do something different. This intention must be practiced (not just read about). Softening these rough edges in ourselves happens best within community. CARE meetings aren’t classes that require you meet a standard for attending. Our meetings connect you to a “come as you” community that simply values your presence.

Come as you are

“The community aspects of Benedictine CARE are always present and caring. Teri has helped to create a safe space for everyone to be themselves without any judgment.

Come only when you can

No expectations on how often you attend, and nothing to prepare; meetings are not mandatory, participate only when you hear the internal invitation to attend.

Come and be you

Quiet, inquisitive, listening, or talking… monastic-rooted community values that each individual participates in community differently. All are needed.
